Unable to hear music or audio from your Lenovo PC? In this video, let us look at the steps we can take to fix the issue. The No Audio issue could be due to one of these three causes.
• OS or Software Configuration
• Speaker Status & Connections
• Or a possible Hardware configuration Most of the common OS or Software configuration issues can be resolved by running the Windows Troubleshooter in the Control Panel.

 
In the Start Menu, type Control Panel or press Windows key on your key board with the letter X. This opens the Power User menu where you can select Control Panel. In the control panel window, Switch from Category view to Large or Small Icons. Click the icon named ‘Troubleshooting’ to open the ‘Troubleshoot Computer problems’ screen. Select ‘Hardware and Sound’ from the list, and click ‘Playing Audio’. On the Troubleshooter window, click Next to initiate the troubleshooter. When done, the process would have fixed issues like low volume or mute, device or driver configuration, Audio related windows services or potential speaker or headphone connectivity issues. If you are using a 3rd party playback software, then ensure the volume is not muted and is high enough in your playback software. If you are using an external speaker or headphone, make sure that they are powered on, the connections are secure and the volume is not too low. In a Desktop PC you might have more than one port for Audio at the rear. Make sure you have connected your speaker to the Green port. If available, you can try a different headphone or speaker to see if it is a problem with the speaker. If you still have no audio from your PC, then it could be a hardware issue.
