Manual Install

Windows Vista 32bit, 64 bit:

  1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ATKHTK.
  3. Click Start, then click All Programs.
  4. Click Accessories, then click Run...
  5. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ATKHTK\SETUP.EXE
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions and use the default settings to complete the setup, once the operating system has rebooted.

Windows XP:

  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ATKHTK.
  3. Click Start, then click Run.
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ATKHTK\SETUP.EXE
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions and use the default settings to complete the setup, once the operating system has rebooted.
Unattended install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.

Windows Vista 32bit, 64 bit:

Determining which version is installed

Windows Vista 32bit, 64 bit:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program.
  3. Righ click on 'Name' tab, then click More.
  4. Tick 'Version', then click OK.
  5. Check the Version value of 'Lenovo_ATK_Package'

Windows XP:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Click 'Lenovo_ATK_Package', and then click 'Click here for support information'.
  4. Check the value of Version.
