Summary of changes
Version 1UHTB2WW (1.62)
Note: This version of Embedded Controller Program will only work with BIOS Version 1.13 or higher.
  • (Fix) Previously released Embedded Controller 1.61(1UHTB1WW) may cause a spontaneous wrong key input when you key input with an external PS/2 type keyboard
    • Numeric characters (2, 4, 6 and 8) will be inserted intermittently during cursor move with cursor keys.
    • A keyboard behaves as if shift key is depressed until a shift key is pressed.
      • You can only type only Uppercase characters. (Some keys seem to keystrokes, because the shift cases are not defined)
      • Multiple selection with cursor keys
      • Numeric keypad will turn to cursor key

Installation instructions
Notes:
  • Remove the Power-on password prior to updating the Embedded Controller Program in RDM (Remote Deployment Manager) environment or similar environment.
  • You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack to update the Embedded Controller Program.
  • If your computer is attached to any kind of port replicator, turn off the computer and detach it before proceeding.
  • If a USB Diskette Drive is attached to your computer, turn off the computer and detach it before proceeding.
  1. Print these instructions or display on another computer.
  2. Firmly connect the AC adapter to the computer.
