For access, remove these FRUs in order:

12.1-in. WXGA LCD rear cover and wireless antenna cables removal and installation

Please perform the following steps as shown in the pictures below.

In step [3], release the antenna cables from the cable guides of the rear cover.

Note: Wireless antennas are secured with double-faced adhesive tapes.

When installing: When you attache the antenna cables, do as follows.

Cable routing: Place the antenna assembly as shown in this figure.

[a] Wireless WAN antenna, AUX (blue)
[b] Wireless LAN antenna, AUX (black)
[c] Wireless USB antenna (yellow)
[d] MIMO antenna (white)
[e] Wireless LAN antenna, MAIN (gray)
[f] Wireless WAN antenna, MAIN (red)

12.1-in. WXGA LCD model antenna cable routing

Attention: As you route the antenna cables, make sure that they are not subjected to any tension. Tension could cause the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.

In step [1], release the antenna cables from the cable guides of the rear cover.
