Keyboard bezel removal and installation - ThinkPad X300

For access, remove these FRUs in order:

  1. Remove battery.
  2. Remove PCI Express Mini Card for wireless LAN.
  3. Remove wireless USB adapter.
  4. Remove keyboard.
  5. Remove palm rest or palm rest with fingerprint reader.

  1. Before step (8), pull the cables out from the cable guide hole of the keyboard bezel as shown in (a) in this figure.
