How to avoid IdeaPad Tablet K1 flickering in white background

For Tablet K1, the screen randomly flickers slightly when the brightness is set to the lowest. This phenomenon will become more obvious when displaying white pictures. In particular, when you show texts in the environment where the light is too weak or too dark.

Affected Configuration

The above symptom may occur on the following systems:

  • IdeaPad K1 Tablet

This is a limitation of Tablet K1. The phenomenon is caused by the LCD refresh rate. At earlier stage, this LCD refresh rate resonates to GPS frequency, which will initiate a high level of electromagnetic wave. For the sake of users' physical health, we've adjusted the LCD refresh rate. This adjustment makes LCD slightly flicker when displaying white pictures.

You are recommended not to adjust the brightness to the lowest at the best. Please set the brightness slightly higher than the lowest, in this way, you can avoid this inconvenience.
