How to enable or disable Multi-touch function for Lenovo laptops?

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above symptom may occur on the following systems:

IdeaPad S9, S10, S10E, Y650, Y550, Y450

SOLUTION:

Multi-Touch function needs support from TouchPad driver. If there is no "Device Settings" tab, you will need to install the TouchPad driver.

Take the IdeaPad S9, S10 as an example:

1. Double click touchpad icon in the taskbar.

2. Open the main interface of TouchPad settings.

3. Select the "Device Settings" tab, and click "Settings" to see detail settings of the TouchPad, see Fig.3 and Fig.4.

5. Select "Pointer Motion" à "Pinch" in the left pane. Check or uncheck "Enable Pinch" to enable or disable this function.

Note :

Enabling or disabling Multi-Touch in Windows 7 is similar to the above settings, but with minor difference in interface.
