NVidia Quadro 600 (0A36183), NVidia NVS 300 (0A36528) - Cannot re-detect when hot plug the primary display monitor in driver v267.45


Duplicate steps:

  1. Install NVIDIA graphic card, insert two monitors with DVI and DP cable for multi-display
  2. Under Windows Vista, install the graphic card driver v267.45 and reboot OS
  3. Set one from monitor display mode to primary display and the other set to extend mode
  4. Unplug the primary display monitor, then the other monitor remains extend mode -- Issue

Change the primary display at first, then unplug the monitor.

Additional information

Nvidia does not support Hot Plug Detect on Windows Vista with the R265 and above drivers, and close it as will not fix.
