This article has instructions on how to enter the BIOS on Lenovo desktops and All-in-ones via the F1 key. There are also other alternatives such as entering the BIOS from the Windows operating system.

Solution
To enter BIOS via function key
Immediately press the F1 key 5-10 times after the power on button is pressed or restart the system and press F1 when the Lenovo logo is displayed.
To enter BIOS from Windows 10 or Windows 11
The computer may power on too quickly to use the function key. Enter UEFI firmware from Windows using the following steps:
1. Click --> Settings
or click New notifications
at the lower-right corner --> All settings to open Settings Window. If using a touch screen, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Settings. Another option is to right-click Start and select Settings.
2. Windows 10: Click Update & security.
3. Click Recovery, then Restart now.
Windows 11: Select System, Recovery, Advanced startup, then Restart now.
4. After you execute the above procedures, the Options menu will be shown. Then, click Troubleshoot.
5. Click Advanced options.
6. Click UEFI Firmware Settings.
7. Choose Restart.
8. Now the BIOS setup utility interface is open.
Lenovo preloaded Windows 10 is set up with UEFI boot. If the computer does not have UEFI boot and UEFI firmware settings are not available, then enter the BIOS setup via function key.
To enter BIOS by pressing Shift button + restarting the machine
- Log out of Windows and go to the sign-in screen.
- Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard while clicking the Power button on the screen. Continue to hold down the Shift key while clicking Restart.
- Hold down the Shift key. The computer will open a bluescreen with the option to continue.
- Click Troubleshoot --> Advanced options --> UEFI Firmware Settings --> Restart. The BIOS setup utility interface will open.
