Instructions for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and Me

 

  1. Print this page so that you will have the instructions easily available.
  2. Click the underlined link in the File Details section. A license agreement window will appear.
  3. If you agree to the terms in the license agreement, click I agree.
  4. At the File Download window, click Save. This will launch the Save As window.
  5. Click the arrow that is pointing down (circled in red in the following image) and select Desktop.

  6. Click Save to save the file to your desktop.
  7. After you finish downloading the file, close all of your open applications.
  8. Insert a high density floppy disk into the diskette drive.
  9. On your desktop, locate the file you just downloaded and double-click it.
  10. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish extracting the diskette image.

 

Instructions for Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, and XP
  1. Print this page so that you will have the instructions easily available.
  2. Click the underlined link in the File Details section. A license agreement window will appear for executable files.
    Note: Popup blockers and browsers with high security settings can prevent the license agreement window from appearing.
  3. If you agree to the terms in the license agreement, click I agree.
  4. At the File Download window, click Save. This will launch the Save As window.
  5. Click the arrow that is pointing down (circled in red in the image above) and select your local hard disk drive name(C:).
  6. Click Save to save the file to your hard disk drive C:.
    Note: If you attempt to extract the DISKETTE image from a directory that has a space in its name (e.g. My Computer) you will receive the following OS/2 error message:

    Usage : OS2 /P <full path> /C <original Command Line>

    This error occurs regardless of whether the volume is NTFS or FAT16. The window with this error may simply flash up on the screen and then disappear. If you receive this error message, copy the file into a directory that does not contain a space in its name and then extract the diskette image.

  7. After you finish downloading the file, close all of your open applications.
  8. Insert a high density floppy disk into the diskette drive.
  9. Click Start, and then click Run.
  10. Type in C:\filename.exe where filename is the name of the file you downloaded, and click OK
  11. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish extracting the diskette image.

 

Instructions for OS/2

 

  1. Print this page so that you will have the instructions easily available.
  2. Click the underlined link in the File Details section. A license agreement window will appear for executable files.

  4. In the Save as filename: , type c:\ in front of the filename and then click OK.
  5. Open an OS/2 Command Prompt.
  6. Type C: and press Enter.
  7. Type CD\ and press Enter.
  8. Insert a high density floppy disk into the diskette drive.
  9. Type the name that you just downloaded and press Enter.
  10. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish extracting the diskette image.

 

Instructions for DOS and Microsoft Windows 3.1x

 

  1. Print this page so that you will have the instructions easily available.
  2. Click the underlined link in the File Details section. A license agreement window will appear for executable files.

  3. If you agree to the terms in the license agreement, click I agree.
  4. When prompted, type C:\ in front of the filename and click OK.
  5. Exit Windows 3.1x.
  6. Type C: and press Enter.
  7. Type CD\ and press Enter.
  8. Insert a high density floppy disk into the diskette drive.
  9. Type the name that you just downloaded and press Enter.
  10. Follow the prompts on the screen to finish extracting the diskette image.
