Methods for customer to differentiate between the G430 20003 (4253) and G430 20008 (4152) system

AFFECTED CONFIGURATIONS:

The above symptom may occur in the following systems:

Lenovo 3000 G 430

SOLUTION:

Method one:

Identify the system via the Model shown at the bottom of the notebook.

Please refer to the image below for an example as to wherre the Model information is located at the bottom of the notebook.

Method 2:

Identify the system via the Barcode at the bottom of the notebook.

The G430 20003 barcode starts with 11S and the G430 20008 barcode starts with LE.
