Intermittent Network Connectivity Issue - ThinkCentre M92/M92p Tiny (MT 3229, 3234, 3235, 3236, 3237, 3238, 3240, 3242, 3243)

 

Symptom

The system shows that there is no network connection.  The onboard Ethernet port LED is off.  When checking the Device Manager in the operating system, a yellow mark is displayed in the G-LAN driver.

Affected configurations

The above symptom is associated with, but not limited to, the following systems:

  • ThinkCentre M92/M92p Tiny (MT 3229, 3234, 3235, 3236, 3237, 3238, 3240, 3242, 3243)

Applies to:

  • All Operating Systems

Additional Information

Do not replace any hardware for this issue.

Solution

Please click here to update the system BIOS to 9SKT41A, or a later version.
