Symptom

iaStor.sys may cause a stop error message to appear or may cause Microsoft Windows to stop responding with an error message on a blue screen and the system may restart after the error message.

Affected configurations

Any of the following Lenovo systems running Microsoft Windows Vista with an Intel Turbo Memory Driver version 1.0.0.1082 or earlier may be affected by this symptom:

ThinkPad R61
ThinkPad T61, T61p
ThinkPad X61, X61s, X61 Tablet
