Error message when launching ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software
Symptom
The user may see any of the following errors:

ThinkStation S10 (all models)

ThinkPad SL300 (all models)
ThinkPad SL400 (all models)
ThinkPad SL400c (all models)
ThinkPad SL410 (all models)
ThinkPad SL500 (all models)
ThinkPad SL500c (all models)
ThinkPad SL510 (all models)
ThinkPad T400s (all models)
Additional Information:
Preload Vista 32 with ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software and Live Essential included.
After Vista 32 preload has completed;
On some products (Lenovo Welcome), after the preload completes the install process, go to "Lenovo Welcome" > "4.Protect" > "One touch access" > "Enroll" button;
On other products (DDNi), after the preload completes the install process, go to "Lenovo" > "Get Secure" the > "One touch access" > "Enroll" button;
ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software may launch with the above symptoms.
To launch ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software from the Start Menu > All Programs > ThinkVantage > ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software, the error messages may also be seen.
Solution
None. Do not replace any hardware for this issue.
Workaround
Log off, then log on, or reboot the system, the error will not be seen and ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software operates without errors.
