To access the FDAT.LOG when using the Enhanced Diagnostics DOS version, use the following steps:

1. Boot to the Enhanced Diagnostics Diskette.
2. Run the Fixed Disk Advance Test to test a hard drive.
3. Once the test has completed, escape to the main menu.
4. Select Utility on main menu.
5. Select Run External Tests.
6. Select COMMAND.COM. You will exit to a PC DOS Version 7.00 (C) Copyright notice and DOS prompt. You can now access the FDAT.LOG.
7. Type type fdat.log, then press Enter.
