The boot display and BIOS Setup screens are blank when booted with an external analog(VGA) monitor connected

Any of the following systems maybe affected by this symptom:

• ThinkPad G41 with Intel Graphics, ThinkPad G50
• ThinkPad X40, X41, X41 Tablet
• ThinkPad T40 with an SXGA+ panel, T40p, T41 with an SXGA+ panel, T42 with an SXGA+ panel, T43 with Intel Graphics
• ThinkPad R50e, R51 with Intel Graphics, R52 with Intel Graphics
• ThinkPad R60 with Intel Graphics, R60e, R61 with Intel Graphics, R61e, R61i with Intel Graphics
• ThinkPad T60 with Intel Graphics and an XGA panel, T61, T61p
• \ThinkPad X60, X60s, X60 Tablet, X61, X61s, X61 Tablet
• ThinkPad Z60m with Intel Graphics, Z60t, Z61e, Z61m with Intel Graphics , Z61t

Select ThinkPad LCD as Boot Display Device in BIOS Setup in order to activate ThinkPad LCD. The affected systems do not support simultaneous displays.
