The System Properties window cannot be automatically closed when the Bluetooth driver is installed in Windows XP SP2 - ThinkPad
Symptom
The System Properties window does not close automatically after the Integrated Bluetooth II Software is installed. Also, it does not close automatically after new Local Services or Client Applications are added.
Affected configuration
The following systems with the Integrated Bluetooth II or Bluetooth III driver installed:
ThinkPad R40
ThinkPad R50, R50p
ThinkPad R51
ThinkPad T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42p
ThinkPad X31
ThinkPad X40
Solution
Click the OK or Cancel button to close the System Properties window.
Additional information
This problem is caused by the interface between Windows XP Service Pack 2 and the Integrated Bluetooth II driver.
