  • Updated flash2.exe. BIOS level 40 introduced a fix which has a side effect of making it impossible to flash to a down-level BIOS (from 40 or above to 37 or below). The updated flash2.exe allows this down-level flashing to occur again. After creating a down-level diskette, replace the flash2.exe program on the down-level diskette with the one from this release. It remains impossible to use winphlash to do this. Note that boot-block recovery is able to flash to a down-level BIOS.

  • Fixes a problem where the system hangs on resume from standby with some PCI-E graphics cards. This problem was introduced in BIOS level 37.

  • Fixes a problem where a hard drive cannot be found while getting into the operating system. Actually, the hard drive is not detected in POST after a power loss.
  • Fixes a problem where a Fingerprint keyboard gives multiple beeps
  • Adds text translations in BIOS setup that were previously only in English
