Start Windows. For Windows 2000/XP, log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.
Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
Click Start and then click Run.
Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\CHIPUTIL\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Restart the system for the driver to be effective.

The version of the software can be identified by examining the following registry location:

Value name: version
