    Additional information

The USB mice with Wake From Standby capabilities do not have a tab in device manager to enable/disable when connected to the USB ports on the dock.

    Affected configurations
    All ThinkPad 770X systems

  • Symptom
Upgrade install from Windows 98 preload to Windows XP will not complete.

    Affected configurations
    All ThinkPad 240 systems

    Solution

Uninstall any programs that are not compatible with Windows XP.

    Additional information
This is due to the amount of disk space and only occurs if the default factory partitioning was selected when the preload Windows 98 was initially installed. This means that the C: Drive was only allocated a 2 GB partition, and this does not allow enough disk space for the upgrade to Windows XP.
