The International PC Card Modem with GSM capability combines ITU-T standard analog data/fax modem functions and digital GSM cellular capability in one PCMCIA card. In addition to V.34 data and V.17 fax standard support, the modem also includes K56 protocol. The GSM capability is available through the purchase of an upgrade pack for any of the supported GSM cellular phones. - ISDN (with upgrade), Analog (PSTN) and Digital (GSM) capability

Limitations: - 56K Flex modems are designed to be capable of receiving data at up to 56Kbps from a 56K Flex compatible service provider, and transmitting data at up to 33.6Kbps. Public Networks currently limit maximum download speeds to about 53Kbps. Actual speeds depend on many factors and are often less than the maximum possible.
- The modem can run under DOS or OS/2 but the country selector code does not.
