For access, remove these FRUs in order:

• Battery pack
• Wireless WAN slot cover and PCI Express Mini Card for wireless WAN
• Palm rest assembly with cables
• PCI Express Mini Card for wireless LAN
• Keyboard
• Keyboard bezel
• LCD unit
• LCD front bezel
• Speaker assembly
• Integrated camera

Please perform the following step as shown in the picture below:

Release the antenna cables from the cable guides of the LCD rear cover assembly and from the hinges.

For ThinkPad SL510, L510, L512:

When installing: Route the cables as shown in this figure. When you route the cables, make sure that they are not subjected to any tension. Tension could cause the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.

For ThinkPad SL410, L410, and L412:

When installing: Route the cables as shown in this figure. When you route the cables, make sure that they are not subjected to any tension. Tension could cause the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.
