Replacing the PCI adapter - ThinkCentre M57 (type 6068, 6074, 9172, 6008) / M57p (type 9087, 9193, 9018, 9012)

To replace the PCI adapter, do the following:

  1. Remove cover. See "Cover removal".
  2. Open the adapter latch and remove the failing adapter.

Pci adapter

  1. Remove the new adapter from its static-protective package.
  2. Install the new adapter into the appropriate connector on the system and close the adapter latch.

Install the new adapter.

  1. Go to "Completing the parts replacement".
