Communications daughter card installation movie

To remove the communications daughter card:

1. Remove the battery pack:
   1. Turn the computer off.
   2. Disconnect the AC adapter and all cables from the computer.
   3. Close the computer display and turn the computer over.
   4. Unlock battery latch one.
   5. Unlock and hold battery latch two and then slide out the battery pack.
      Here is a closer look at a battery pack latch.
      
2. Remove the communications daughter card:
   1. Loosen the three captive screws on the access panel and lift it off.
   2. Remove the two screws.
   3. Lift the card up to disconnect the connector.
   4. Disconnect the antenna and modem cables.
   5. Lift the card out and place it on the ESD protected surface.

Note: Other systems might have other feature cards installed in this location, such as a modem card.
