To install the system board tray assembly:
Position the tray into the cut out on the chassis using the side rails as alignment.
Push the assembly all the way in until flush with the rear chassis. Here is a close up of the side rails.
Connect the following signal cables to the system board: front fan power, power P1, power P4, power switch LED, optical drive signal, hard disk drive signal and speaker.
Install the processor. Ensure that the processor lever is in the open position.
Position the processor over the socket using the alignment triangle as a guide, then insert it into the socket.

Install the heat sink. Position the heat sink assembly over the processor and rotate the two leaf spring retention clamps to the closed position.
Alternately tighten the two screws to prevent damage to the heat sink. Note: If the thermal grease becomes contaminated, you must remove it from the processor and heat sink, then you must replace it, using grease from the thermal grease kit.
Install the DIMM. Insert the DIMM straight into the slot and press down on the corners until secured by the latches.
Install the rear fan baffle assembly. Align the tabs on the fan with the slots on the rear frame and lower the assembly into position.
