Limitations Booting to the Portable 40GB USB 2.0 Hard Disk Drive with Rescue and Recovery requires system BIOS support. Refer to the system user guide to determine if your system supports booting to USB hard disk drives. The Portable 40GB USB 2.0 Hard Disk Drive with Rescue and Recovery requires two USB ports.
Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore software is not supported on the factory preloads for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) computers. For OEM computers, the hard disk drive must be configured according to recommendations in the Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore Customization and Deployment Guide. Installation time - Approximately one minute (hardware only)
