Note: Perform these steps before removing the modem daughter card:

  1. Turn the machine off.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  3. Remove the main battery.

  4. Remove the memory compartment door.

To remove the modem daughter card:

  1. Remove the two screws.
  2. Use the tab to lift the card up.
  3. Disconnect the modem cable.
  4. Lift the card out.

Note: Other systems might have other feature cards installed in this location.
