Optical drive and hard disk drive installation movie

Text of the audio portion of the optical drive and hard disk drive removal movie

To remove the optical drive bay

1. Rotate the drive bay up until the handle catches on the frame.
   NOTE: The brace is being removed at this time for easier viewing.
2. Lift the brace out of the slots on the frame.
3. Disconnect the audio cable, and remove it from the clip.
4. Disconnect the signal cable, and remove it from the clips.
5. Disconnect the power cable.
6. Disconnect the hard disk drive signal cable, and remove it from the clip.
7. Remove the optical drive power cable from the clips.
8. Disconnect the hard disk drive power cable.
9. Release the handle, and lift the assembly off the frame.

To remove the hard disk drive from the bay

1. Squeeze the ends of the rails, and pull the drive out of the bay.

To remove the optical drive from the bay

1. Remove the two screws, and push the drive out of the bay.
