Turn off the computer; then disconnect the ac adapter and all cables from the computer.
Close the computer display, and turn the computer over.
Remove the battery.
Remove the screw that secures the hard drive.
Open the LCD display. Then remove the hard drive by pulling the cover away from the computer.
Do not remove the screws from the sides of the cover; instead, detach the cover from the hard drive by pulling in the direction of the arrows, first (A) and then (B).
Attach the cover to a new hard drive with the two screws. Insert the hard drive and its cover into the hard drive bay; then firmly install them.
NOTE: Make sure that the label on the hard drive is toward the top of the computer.
