ThinkPad SuperDisk (LS-240) UltraBay 2000 Drive:

• Transfer large files and conserve HDD space
• Read/write high-capacity SuperDisk (LS-240) media, SuperDisk (LS-120) media, or standard 1.44 or 720KB diskettes
• Up to 20 times faster than a standard diskette drive
• Store contents of up to 166 traditional 1.44MB diskettes (240MB) on one SuperDisk media

The ThinkPad SuperDisk (LS-240) Ultrabay 2000 Drive offers twice the capacity of the existing LS-120 drive when using new SuperDisk LS-240 media. This new drive slides easily into the Ultrabay 2000, ThinkPad Dock, UltraBase X2 media slice, and the Portable Drive Bay 2000. The LS-240 drive is read/write backward compatible with 720KB, 1.44MB, and LS-120 media and delivers up to 20 times the performance (data transfer rate) of a standard 1.44MB diskette drive.

The 15GB and 30GB HDD options balance mobile requirements for capacity, performance, size, reliability, and power management to meet the high standards of ThinkPad customers.

These new ThinkPad HDDs can replace your existing ThinkPad A, T or X Series system hard drive. Together with the ThinkPad 2nd HDD Adapter for Ultrabay 2000, they can also be used in the ThinkPad Ultrabay 2000, ThinkPad Dock, UltraBase X2 media slice or Portable Drive Bay 2000 for high-speed backup and increased storage capacity. You can trust your valuable data storage needs to an option designed for the ThinkPad A, T, and X Series laptops.
