The IEEE 1394 CardBus Card provides ThinkPad customers with an easy way to connect to high-speed storage devices and digital video cameras at home and in the office. The CardBus Card lets you add IEEE 1394-enabled peripherals to any CardBus-equipped notebook computer. Just insert the IEEE 1394 CardBus Card into a Type II or Type III CardBus slot and your notebook is ready to utilize the performance and speed of IEEE 1394 devices such as Digital Video, IEEE 1394 hard drives, DVD players, and more.
