64MB of 100 MHz SDRAM memory is standard and can be expanded to a maximum of 192MB using IBM memory options. Only the ThinkPad 64-bit, 144 pin, 32MB, 64MB, or 128MB 100 MHz SDRAM DIMM 3.3V, non-parity memory options or equivalent can be used.

An internal slot is provided for additional memory modules. One memory module can be installed in the system for memory expansion.
