At a glance The 10/100 EtherJet CardBus Adapter offers 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet connectivity through the PCI-based CardBus interface. The 32-bit bus-mastering architecture of CardBus enables full use of the bandwidth of Fast Ethernet networks. This allows higher throughput than 16-bit PCMCIA adapters and offloads networking tasks from the PC to the adapter. The EtherJet adapter is designed for very low power consumption, minimizing the computer's battery drain. This adapter does not consume power while inserted in the computer and the LAN cable is disconnected. Installing the EtherJet adapter is simple with its Plug and Play support in Microsoft Windows 95 and easy-to-use installation utility in other environments. The PC 97-compliant adapter ships with device drivers for all leading operating systems. The adapter is manageable with its support for SNMP and DMI 2.0. The 10/100 EtherJet CardBus Adapter meets all industry standards, ensuring compatibility with other vendors' computers and networking equipment.
