The ThinkPad i Series Li-Ion Battery lets you use your i Series for longer periods without being tethered to a power outlet. You can exchange it with the system battery to extend the usage time for your i Series system.
This Li-Ion battery has nine cells that produce a 10.8 V output. It can be recharged in 3.5 to 6.0(1) hours depending on the ThinkPad system usage.
