Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

Keyboard installation movie.

Text of the audio portion of the movie

To remove the keyboard:

1. Remove the two screws from the bottom of the machine. These icons identify the screws.
2. Note the location of the keyboard release tab.
3. Turn the ThinkPad over and open the cover.
4. Push up the keyboard release tab.
5. Lift up the keyboard and disconnect the cable.
6. Then lift out the keyboard.
