Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

To remove a Dual In-line Memory Module:

1. Loosen the captive screw on the access panel.
2. Release the latches.
3. Lift the DIMM out and place it on an ESD mat or in a static sensitive bag.

To install a DIMM:

1. Tilt the DIMM and insert it into the socket.
2. Push down until it snaps into place.
3. Install the access panel and tighten the captive screw.
