Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

Text of the audio portion of the hard disk drive removal and installation movie

To remove the hard disk drive:

1. Remove the screw.
2. Insert your fingers under door latch and push down while lifting the drive out.

To install the hard disk drive:

1. Insert the drive into the bay.
2. Pivot the door up until it latches.
3. Secure with the screw.
