The ThinkPad TransNote is a Mobile PC plus digitizing tablet integrated into a sleek leather portfolio sized package.
When the unit is open, the ThinkPad computer operates as usual with the ThinkScribe digitizing tablet functioning as a mouse.
When you take advantage of the M fold design, you can easily access several unique TransNote features.
One of the features is a touch screen display that can be used for presentations when it is rotated using the Flip Touch Control button. The touch screen display provides input to the ThinkPad via the TouchBoard utility. The display can be used when the unit is open or closed for carrying convenience.
Another feature is the ThinkScribe. Using a plain paper pad and the digital pen that is part of the package, you are able to insert handwritten notes into e-mail, word-processing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
