The Universal Serial Bus (USB) connector is used for connecting USB interface-compatible devices, such as a printer or digital camera.
Note: The ThinkPad R40e system does not supports USB 2.0.
Your ThinkPad computer has a S-Video connector, with which you can attach a television. Note: ThinkPad R40e systems do not support video out and do not have this S-Video port.
