Processor removal and installation - NetVista 2259, 6049
Prepare the CPU, heatsink and the CPU cooling fan.
Pull the CPU socket-locking lever away from the socket to unhook it and raise the locking lever to the upright position. Place the CPU into the socket and pull down the lever. Apply thermal grease to the top of the CPU.
Place the heatsink at the top of the CPU.
Attach the CPU cooling fan on top of the heatsink. Snap the four retention legs of the cooling fan into place.
Lock both levers on top of the cooling fan to their opposite sides to secure the cooling fan on top of the heatsink.
Connect the CPU cooling fan power cable to the CPU fan connector on the system board.
