Before you begin

1. Turn the machine off.
2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
3. Remove the main battery.

Text of the audio portion of the hard disk drive removal movie

To remove the hard disk drive:

1. Remove the single screw.
2. Push the bezel down and slide the drive out.

To remove the drive shield from the hard disk drive:

1. Pull the bezel off.
2. Remove the two screws on each side of the drive
3. Lift the shield off the drive
