The ThinkPad High Speed 40GB hard disk drive option is supported on other currently marketed ThinkPad systems with the Portable Drive Bay 2000 (marketing part number 19K4480) and the ThinkPad 2nd hard disk drive Adapter for Ultrabay 2000 (marketing part number 08K6068). The 40GB hard disk drive option is also supported in the ThinkPad Dock (machine type 2631) with the ThinkPad 2nd hard disk drive Adapter for Ultrabay 2000 (marketing part number 08K6068).

NOTE: The 40 GB hard disk drive option is only supported on ThinkPad systems.
