The ThinkPad USB 2.0 CardBus Adapter makes it easy to connect your ThinkPad to USB 2.0 enabled peripherals. This adapter transfers data at up to 480 Mbps (40 times the speed of USB 1.1). It can greatly increase the performance of compatible external hard drives, printers, scanners, and the USB 2.0 Portable CD-RW Drive.
