Fn+F2If you press this key combination, the Power Management Properties window appears. You can view and set parameters for battery status in the window.
Screen blanking
Fn+F3The computer blanks the screen (turns off the LCD back-light) to save power. Press any key or move the cursor to resume.
Standby mode
Fn+F4The computer enters standby mode.
Hibernation mode
Fn+F12The computer enters hibernation mode.
ShortCut Keys Utility program
Fn+F1The ShortCut Keys Utility program appears.
Toggling between the LCD and the external monitor
Fn+F9

Computer output is displayed in the following order when an external monitor:

  • LCD+External display
  • LCD
  • External Display
Increase brightness
Fn+HomeThis increases the brightness of the computer LCD.
Decrease brightness
Fn+EndThis decreases the brightness of the computer LCD.
Customizable keys
Fn+F5 to Fn+F8Use the ShortCut Keys Utility (Fn+F1) to choose programs or files to launch with the customized ShortCut key.
