For access, remove these FRUs in order:

• Battery pack
• Hard disk drive door
• Hard disk drive or solid state drive assembly
• PCI Express Mini Card for wireless LAN
• PCI Express Mini Card for wireless WAN
• Keyboard
• Keyboard bezel assembly and power button board
• Bluetooth daughter card
• Fan assembly, system board assembly, and DC-in connector

Attention:
The CPU is extremely sensitive. When you service the CPU, avoid any kind of rough handling.

Rotate the head of the screw in the direction shown by the arrow [1] to release the lock, then remove the CPU [2] .

Please perform the following steps as shown in the pictures below:

When installing:
Place the CPU on the CPU socket, and then rotate the head of the screw in the direction shown by the arrow [3] to secure the CPU.
