This package contains the following support modules for Microsoft Windows XP.

- To detect and configure the Intel Wireless LAN (MIMO)

The following 3000 Family notebooks are supported:

- 3000 N200 (type 0769)

Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANIN2
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify "XP\Apps\x32\iProInst.exe" with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANIN2\XP\Apps\x32\iProInst.exe
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANIN2
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify "XP\Apps\x32\iProInst.exe /QI" with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    The driver will be installed automatically.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANIN2\XP\Apps\x32\iProInst.exe /QI
  5. If necessary, restart the system.

Update install
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANIN2
  3. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click System.
  5. Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
  6. Select Network adapters, then right-click Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.
  7. Click Update Driver Software... then click Browse my computer for driver software.
  8. Click Browse.. then choose the package extracted in step 2.
  9. Click Next.
  10. If necessary, restart the system.

Uninstallation
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software.
  5. Click Uninstall/Change. The driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  6. If necessary, restart the system.

Note: If Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software is not found in the Control Panel after the package has been installed, please reinstall the package by starting "XP\Apps\x32\iProInst.exe" without any option.
