This package applies to the following systems configured with the TSST TS-492C CD-RW/DVD combo drive with firmware versions IB00 and IB01:

1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

1. Click Start, select Find or Search, then click Files and folders.
2. Type tsst_ts492c_ib02.exe in the search field, then click Find Now. This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the tsst_ts492c_ib02.exe icon.
4. Click Next.
5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6. Click Next.
7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\SWTOOLS\FIRMWARE\TSST\TS-492C.
8. Click Next. The necessary files will be extracted to your hard drive.
9. Click Finish.

Note: This firmware upgrade requires the system to be restarted. Exit all applications and save your data before running the upgrade. Do not restart or power-down the system while the upgrade is in progress.

1. Click Start, then click Run.
2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\FIRMWARE\TSST\TS-492C\TSH492C_IB02.exe, then click OK. The firmware upgrade utility will proceed automatically.
3. When you see the "Download OK!! Restart WINDOWS" message, click OK.
4. The firmware upgrade will be applied when the system restarts.
