• If you use ThinkVantage Access Connections, the following software must be installed.
  • ThinkVantage Access Connections version 5.0 or higher.
  • Lenovo System Interface Driver version 1.00.0702 or higher.
  • ThinkPad Power Management Driver for Windows 98 Vista, XP, 2000, Me, SE Vista version 1.44 or higher
    or
    ThinkPad Power Management Driver for SL Series version 1.44 or higher.
  • Hotkey Features for Windows Vista/XP/2000 version 2.08.2008 or higher
• You may need to reenter security information after updating the Wireless LAN driver.

• There are pre-requisites before installing this software. Click here for the list of pre-requisites.
• If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.

1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
   The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista\WLLANATH.
3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run....
4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
   Example: C:\DRIVERS\Vista\WLLANATH\SETUP.EXE
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. Reboot the system to complete the installation.

3. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program.
4. Right-click ThinkPad Wireless LAN Adapters Software (11a/b, 11b/g, 11a/b/g, 11a/b/g/n).
5. Click Uninstall.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
7. Reboot the system to complete.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel.
2. Click Control Panel Home, then click Programs.
3. Click Programs and Features.
4. Click ThinkPad Wireless LAN Adapters Software (11a/b, 11b/g, 11a/b/g, 11a/b/g/n) to display the Product Version.
5. If you do not see the Product Version, click Organize, Layout and Details Pane.
