Downloading the update

1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

Extracting the update

1. Click Start, then click Find, and then click Files and folders.
2. Type qn6z06us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now. This will locate the qn6z06us.exe file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the icon for qn6z06us.exe.
4. Click I Agree.
5. Click Next. The directory should remain C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.

Installing the update

Once the drivers have been extracted, detailed installation notes are provided in the specific operating system folder C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\<Folder>.
Specific installation notes for the Microsoft Windows 95 operating system are provided in the file C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\WIN95\WIN95.TXT.
Specific installation notes for the Microsoft Windows 98 operating system are provided in the file C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\WIN98\WIN98.TXT.
Specific installation notes for the Microsoft Windows Me operating system are provided in the file C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\WINME\WINME.TXT.
Specific installation notes for the Microsoft Windows NT operating system are provided in the file C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\WINNT\WINNT.TXT.
Specific installation notes for the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system are provided in the file C:\DRIVERS\QN6Z06US\WIN2000\WIN2000.TXT.
