NOTE:

This driver is for use with Windows 98 only

No device drivers are required to install the IBM USB 2.0 Memory Keys in Microsoft Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. These operating systems have built-in support for the Memory Keys.

Installation instructions

To install the IBM 64MB or 256MB USB 2.0 Memory Key in Windows 98:

1. Run the 64256MKEY.EXE file to extract the files to the system. Follow the onscreen instructions. The default location of the drivers is: C:\IBM Memory Key.
2. Plug the Memory Key into the USB connector. The New Hardware Wizard window will open and automatically install the drivers.
3. The Memory Key will be displayed as a drive icon in the My Computer window. It is now ready to be used. If already installed, IBM MyKey will start at this time.

To uninstall the IBM 64MB or 256MB USB 2.0 Memory Key drivers for Windows 98:

1. Run the 64256MKEY.EXE file and choose the option to uninstall.
